Casa Armenia Brandy and Wines is the only distribution of Armenian wines in Italy. It is based in Turin but operates throughout the country. Casa Armenia imports more than a hundred labels of wines and spirits directly from Armenia. The selection of wines consist of bubbles (charmat and champenoise method), elegant and mineral white wines, spicy and structured red ones and those fermented and aged in amphorae. The spirits selection is composed by brandy (from 5 to 30 years of aging), different type of vodka (among which Samvuel III, a black vodka) and many grappa with armenian herbs.
Country you go, viticulture and enology you find. From this point of view, Armenia has many unique characteristic: strong temperature range, vulcanic soil and it is considered the cradle of wine.

Francesca Steffenino was born in Turin into a family that has been a wine lover for generations: her paternal grandparents produced Barbera and Grignolino in Quarto d'Asti while her maternal grandparents were the owners of a Turin wine shop. After graduating in Philosophy (University of Pisa), he became Ais Sommelier in Turin in 2015. She has worked in the wine industry as Sommelier even in New Zealand. She had experiences in wine trade and in wineries. Today she organizes wine courses and tasting sessions. She has been collaborating with Casa Armenia Brandy and Wines for two years with the aim of promoting new tastes.
