BOLD NATIVE VINES: STORIES OF LOVE AND RESISTANCE

Description

The webinar aims to promote Micro Mega Wines, the new thematic area of Vinitaly 54° edition, created with the intent of showcasing the work of some of the country’s best wine estates, big and small, that, through their passion and hard work help to safeguard and promote both the quality of rare native grape varieties that have called Italy home for millennia, as well as that of international grape varieties that express the uniqueness of specific Italian terroirs with their wines. Ian D’Agata will be the moderator of the event. He is a consultant and supervisor for Vinitaly and of one the most expert communicators of Italian wines abroad. He is director of Terroir Sense Wine Review, the review that will curate the storytelling of the wines of the Vinitaly section, during events and masterclasses dedicated to professionals, buyer and journalists.

The webinar will focus on the story of two native italian vines: Nas-cëtta di Novello (Cuneo, Piedmont), and Tazzelenghe (Udine, Friuli-Venezia Giulia), protected by two important homonymous Associations born by the noble purpose of protectiong and promoting these vines.
