Wine tourism is a strategic asset for the development of Italian tourism, able to create added value to the rich heritage of products, terroir, people that characterizes us. Its future passes from three key elements: innovation, sustainability and wellbeing. Today tourists see in the wine-tourism journey an opportunity for cultural enrichment, to be emphasized through the combination with art, moments of encounter with producers and active and engaging proposals. They also want experiences that go beyond traditional tastings and visits: vineyard dinners, vineyard picnics, hiking and bike tours. Up to the wellbeing: travelers want to find opportunities to regenerate and reprogram their habits, with wine territories that can be the ideal places thanks to their amenities combined with the healthy dimension of wine. Sustainability will become a powerful factor of attraction, and must be declined in proposals that will allow the tourist to be able to do good"
