Speaker - Lorenzo Galanti
Lorenzo Galanti

Lorenzo Galanti was born in Stuttgart in 1968. After graduating from the “Cesare Alfieri” Faculty of Political Sciences in Florence, he began a diplomatic career in 1993. Galanti has held numerous positions at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and served abroad at the Italian Embassies in Syria, Senegal and the United States. At the Embassy in Washington, from 2010 to 2014, he was responsible for the economic, commercial and financial, as well as scientific and technological sectors.

From 2018 to 2022 Galanti was based in Bangkok where he served as Ambassador of Italy to the Kingdom of Thailand, the Kingdom of Cambodia and the Lao People’s Democratic Republic, as well as Permanent Observer at the UN Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP). Subsequently, he was the Diplomatic Advisor to the Minister for Disabilities at the Presidency of the Council of Ministers until July 2023.

On 28 July 2023, by Decree of the President of the Republic, Galanti was appointed General Director of ICE Agenzia for the promotion abroad and the internationalization of Italian companies.

Federico Bricolo

Born in 1966 in Verona, Federico Bricolo boasts a long career in institutions which led him to hold leading positions in the Italian Government and Parliament, as well as in international organizations: Deputy from 2001 to 2008, Undersecretary for Infrastructure and Transport in 2005-2006, group leader of the Lega Nord in the Senate from 2008 to 2013. At the international level, he is part of the delegation to the parliamentary assembly of the OSCE, an organization for security and cooperation in Europe and became Vice President of delegations in the parliamentary assembly of the Council of Europe and the Western European Union. As a parliamentarian he participates in various missions abroad, meeting government representatives and diplomats from nations such as the United States and Afghanistan.

For five years he held the position of Chairman of the Board of Editoriale Nord and was responsible for the political secretariat and the legislative office of the Lega Nord. In 2020 he became a member of the Board of Directors of Verona Catullo Airport. Speaker - Maurizio Danese
Maurizio Danese

Maurizio Danese was born in 1962 and founded his first company, the Center Catering Spa in 1987. Over the next several years he gained important experience in the food&wine sector across Veneto and Emilia Romagna. Today he is vice president of Pregis Spa, a leading company in the food service sector, specializing in the supply of food products to the HORECA channel.

Danese shares his expertise with many professional associations: since 2004 he has been the Vice President of Confcommercio Verona; since 2012 he has been a member of the Territorial Committee of Banco Popolare; from 2010 to 2015 he was President of the Confidi Veneto-Cooperative of the collective guarantee Fidi; from 2003 to 2019 he was a member of the board and council of the Verona Chamber of Commerce where, from 2014-2015, he also held the position of Vice President. From 2009 to 2014, Danese presided over Verona Innovazione, a special company within the Verona Chamber of Commerce.

In October 2015 he became President of Veronafiere and is one of the main architects of its transformation from an institution to a joint-stock company, which took place in 2016. In July 2020, he was appointed President of Aefi, the Italian Exhibitors and Exhibitions Association, after having held the position of Vice President in the previous two years. After completing his second term as President of Veronafiere Spa, he became its CEO in June 2022.

Carlo Flamini

Carlo Flamini is in charge of Unione Italiana Vini’s Osservatorio del Vino, the digital platform that provides data and analysis on international markets, production potential and the bulk market.

He has worked as a journalist in UIV since 2002 and, from 2010 to 2018, he served as Chief Editor of Corriere Vinicolo, for which he conceived and produced “Vino in Cifre,” “Corriere Vinicolo Vite” and “Wine by Numbers.”

Mod. Gianluca Semprini
Gianluca Semprini, born in 1970 in Rome, is a professional TV and radio journalist. He started in private radio, then at the Espresso group, for years in the editorial staff of Italia Radio he conducted live broadcasts and in depth analysis, first on sport, then news and current affairs.

After a short spell at Stream TV, he spent the next 13 years at Skytg24, hosting news programmes, in-depth analysis, electoral comparisons and working occasionally as a correspondent until becoming editor-in-chief.

In 2016 he transferred to Rai, amidst the controversy he hosted “Politics” on Rai 3, the program closed early and he was subsequently diverted to the night time slot of Rainews24. For four years between 2018 and 2023 he hosted Vita in the summer version on Rai 1, on Radio 1 ‘Centocittà’, the central and evening news programs of Rainews24, the morning press reviews, and the electoral marathons.
