Wines and excellent food will be in the forefront of this square.
It will also be possible to access the stunning Lounge of Frescoes: with a photographic exhibition about the restoration of Palazzo del Capitanio and the DJ console to recreate the perfect atmosphere, while Invigna will recreate the emotion of a typical evening among the vineyards, in which the Vinitaly public and the Municipality will be able to taste wines from the Valpolicella, Custoza, Soave and Lake Garda areas.
A little history of Cortile del Tribunale
Alberto I della Scala commissioned this grandiose family palace in 1285. It had a portico and garden, which extended into the area now known as "Cortile del Tribunale".
It was recently re-opened to public access after a major restoration project and is today one of the city's finest squares. The middle of the courtyard and the east side of the paving have two large "portholes" revealing glimpses of Roman Verona.
