The promotional activities planned by Veronafiere go on through the stops of the Vinitaly Roadshow, a series of press lunch events in various European and non-European countries. After New York, the event travels to London on 14 March 2022. The London event will be attended by representatives of the Italian Trade Agency, Veronafiere and the media, as well as local operators and potential buyers interested in joining the Vinitaly hospitality program.
The event includes a press conference and lunch with a wine tasting at Terrace at The Dilly in Piccadilly from 12:00 to 13:45. Despite the difficulties of the last few years, demand for Italian food products continues to expand in post-Brexit Britain. For British consumers Italian is still the most popular international cuisine, reflected also in the continuing demand for Italian wine.
The Vinitaly Roadshow celebrates the decision of Veronafiere to host the 54th edition of Vinitaly as normal this year and also recognizes the importance of the Buyers Hospitality Program. The event reflects the continued success of Italian wineries globally, as well as the strong interest of operators and exhibitors to participate in the Wine and Spirits Show.
